Job summary

Bank of America’s Global Risk Management Summer Analyst Programme is a 10‑week experience that provides insight into GRM, its role in Responsible Growth, and how risk management supports the company.

As a Summer Analyst, you will gain exposure to seven risk disciplines—Strategic, Market, Credit, Compliance, Liquidity, Operational and Reputational Risk—developing foundations in risk management, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration within a leading financial institution.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completion between Sep 2028 and Jul 2029.
• On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
• Available to join from Jun 2028 to Aug 2028.
• Some lines may offer full-time employment starting Jul 2029; deferrals not available.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Risk Managers to assess and manage risk exposures under the Risk Framework.
• Support analysis and projects shaping risk management policies and controls.
• Develop emerging risk assessments, scenario analysis, and risk modeling where applicable.
• Support and manage projects related to risk management initiatives.
• Assist regulatory initiatives and policy implementation impacts on risk practices.
