Job summary

SiriusPoint invites applications for an International Regulatory Reporting Accountant based in our London office. Reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Manager, you will prepare and submit regulatory returns for UK and European entities and support Solvency II reporting.

You will collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Capital, Legal, and Compliance teams across London and Stockholm, developing stronger controls, processes, and governance.

Qualifications

• A recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with 2–3 years post-qualification experience in insurance or reinsurance.
• Experience in regulatory reporting for insurance or reinsurance, ideally Solvency II.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills and attention to data quality.
• Ability to deliver accurate work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and broader Office suite.
• Collaborative, hands-on attitude and cross-team contribution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory returns with precision and within set deadlines to the FCA, ABI, ONS, NAIC, SFSA, SCB, and NBB.
• Assist with the preparation of Solvency II returns for UK and Swedish entities, and for the international group on solo and group bases.
• Help prepare and submit the SFCR and RSR.
• Conduct reconciliations, validation checks, movement analysis, and analytical reviews for completeness and accuracy.
• Generate management information and analyses related to regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain the regulatory reporting timetable, coordinating inputs, reviews, and approvals.
• Contribute to development and enhancement of regulatory reporting systems and data flows.
• Act as go-to contact for internal/external queries related to regulatory reporting.
