Job summary

Nucleus Global, part of the iNIZIO Medical group, seeks an Associate Scientific Director to co-lead a global publications team focused on multiple sclerosis. You will partner with global clients on high-impact publications, mentor mid-level writers, and help drive strategic direction and client relationships.

The role reports to the Senior Scientific Director or VP, Scientific Services and will lead a global team of medical writers, with opportunities to advance and travel for client meetings.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency.
• Experience writing across publications deliverables and formats for medical audiences.
• Experience reviewing and overseeing writers, including line management.
• Leadership mindset with ability to lead a global team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A keen eye for detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead a global, fast-paced publications team for multiple sclerosis.
• Partner with global clients on high-impact publications and strategy.
• Mentor and review work of junior writers and mid-level staff.
• Lead client and author calls and scientific meetings; drive account growth.
