MSD is seeking an Executive Director for Animal Health Global Public Policy and Multilateral Engagement to lead global policy efforts across biopharma and technology portfolios. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in government, multilateral or global organizations, technology, or animal health industries.
• Superior interpersonal, leadership and diplomacy skills.
• Noteworthy experience with multilateral organizations and WOAH on international standards.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to resolution.
• Ability to engage across cultures and matrices with strong ethics.

Responsabilités

• Generate and sustain relationships with multilateral organizations (WOAH, FAO, OECD, WTO) to advance business objectives.
• Represent Animal Health Division on global standard-setting bodies and coordinate teams.
• Develop and execute a cohesive multilateral strategy to achieve objectives across regions.
• Differentiate the company by securing leadership roles in global forums as a trusted partner.
• Serve as global public policy lead for enterprise-wide objectives.
• Identify and translate opportunities into country/regional strategies to solve objectives.
• Coordinate with global/regional sales to position the company on tenders.
• Provide regular policy analysis to senior leaders to inform strategy.
• Monitor global trade notifications and tariffs affecting business continuity.
