Job summary

Tesco Stores Limited is seeking a senior Property Procurement lead to drive the strategy for Goods and Services Not For Resale within a global framework. You will manage supplier relationships, lead a team, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver best commercial value while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic Property sourcing with a proven track record of delivering cost reductions.
• Ability to develop and implement sourcing methodologies and category strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and deep knowledge of total cost of ownership and value engineering.
• Experience managing large supplier networks and driving measurable commercial results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Property Procurement team (circa 10 colleagues) and be a key member of the Procurement Leadership team.
• Create and deliver cost savings plans including Opex, Capital, Cash and Contract Compliance for the category.
• Develop category strategies in line with Tesco objectives and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Deliver strategic sourcing projects across Construction and Shopfitting, Maintenance and Engineering, Automation and Energy.
• Collaborate with Group Central Europe, ROI, Tesco Business Solutions, and subsidiaries when required.
• Provide market insight through benchmarking, supplier networks, and market research.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers to deliver significant annual savings and contribute to cost reduction plans.
• Represent Tesco at senior levels with suppliers and industry bodies.
