Role Overview

As the Global Process Owner Revenue Recognition (GPO) within a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), you will lead the design, implementation, and governance of global revenue recognition processes. You will ensure compliance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 while aligning financial practices with the unique complexities of CDMO operations, including multi‑phase contracts, milestone‑based billing, and long‑term manufacturing agreements.

What you will do
  • Collaborate with finance and business collaborators to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Define and maintain the global revenue recognition framework tailored to CDMO business models.
  • Establish and enforce standardized policies and procedures across global sites to ensure consistent application of revenue recognition principles.
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS 15/ASC 606, particularly around performance obligations, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, especially in areas such as contract review, milestone tracking, and revenue forecasting.
  • Collaborate with IT and transformation teams to enhance ERP and revenue recognition systems.
Qualifications
  • In‑depth IFRS 15 knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of revenue recognition.
  • Preferably experience working with external auditors.
  • Financial qualification (ACCA OR CPA) would be nice to have.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
