Job summary

Prestigious International Bank in London is seeking to appoint an experienced Relationship Manager for its Private Banking division. You will manage long-term relationships with HNWIs, act as primary contact, and drive cross-selling and revenue growth.

The role includes international travel every other month, ensuring AML compliance, collaboration with Treasury and Operations, and maintaining up-to-date client files and KYC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer service role within retail financial services/banking.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations (JMLSG, FCA rules, EU directives).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and related regulatory requirements.
• Degree-level qualification in finance or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deepen relationships with high-net-worth individuals as primary contact.
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to grow revenue and assets.
• Travel internationally every other month to meet clients and coordinate with regional teams.
• Ensure AML/KYC policy adherence and escalate significant exceptions appropriately.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Settlements and Operations to deliver seamless service.
• Maintain accurate customer files and conduct periodic KYC reviews.
• Proactively inform clients of changes to account terms or services.
• Ensure timely execution of client requests (transfers, cash orders, cheque books, deposits).
• Meet or exceed personal KPIs and support Private Banking strategy and budgeting.
