Job summary

A leading global financial services firm is seeking an Executive Director for its Global Privacy Office in London/Birmingham. This role will involve developing the firm's privacy compliance program, managing cross-functional projects, and advising stakeholders on privacy laws. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in Privacy or Data Protection, including knowledge of GDPR and related regulations, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of work experience, with at least 5 in the Privacy or Data Protection domain.
• Experience with GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and EU AI Act.
• Financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute opportunities to scale the global privacy program.
• Provide privacy advisory guidance to various stakeholders.
• Support privacy risk assessments and operational aspects.
• Review business activities against privacy requirements.
• Manage cross-functional projects for privacy laws.
• Monitor the status of the privacy program for senior management.
