Job summary

Saviynt Inc. is seeking a Global Privacy Leader to serve as Data Protection Officer, driving a modern privacy program across AI infrastructure, cloud and SaaS platforms.

You will design and implement a scalable privacy framework, oversee DPIAs, DPAs, and privacy audits, and partner with Legal, Product and Engineering to embed controls across products. The role requires senior privacy leadership, deep GDPR/CCPA knowledge, and a track record in cross-border transfers to ensure privacy excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Information Security, Data Protection, or related field.
• Extensive experience in data privacy, data protection, or legal compliance.
• Senior leadership experience managing global privacy programs, preferably in SaaS or high-growth tech.
• Proven track record with cross-border data transfer mechanisms and regional privacy laws.
• Ability to translate regulations into actionable guidance for product teams.
• Experience presenting privacy roadmaps and security postures to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a modern data privacy program across AI infrastructure, cloud, and SaaS platforms.
• Design, implement, and evolve a scalable global privacy framework based on ISO 27701 and other standards.
• Oversee DPIAs for high-risk products, vendors, and processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams to embed privacy controls.
• Lead privacy components of external audits (SOC2, ISO) and participate in customer due diligence.
• Draft, review, and negotiate DPAs and privacy clauses in contracts.
• Evaluate third-party processors for privacy compliance.
• Partner with Legal on privacy-related contracts and data processing terms.
• Translate complex regulations into clear guidance for engineers and PMs.
• Establish and operate a Privacy Incident Reporting and Response process.
• Oversee DSARs and the Right to be Forgotten across jurisdictions.
