Qualifications

  • Significant demonstrable experience in the power/electricity industries and/or markets.
  • Ability to present to a high standard.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain power demand outlooks for major countries and regions.
  • Deliver power generation outlooks by technology.
  • Produce high-quality price forecasts for power markets.
  • Contribute to monthly and weekly metallurgical coal deliverables.
  • Work closely with analysts from other commodities.
  • Be a thought leader in global power markets.
  • Work with sales on developing and pursuing leads.

Skills

Strong quantitative skills (MS Excel and VBA)
Knowledge of Python
Power BI
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

Education
