Job summary

University of Bath is recruiting a Placements Officer to help students secure professional placement opportunities and succeed in their career journey. The role focuses on building relationships with placement providers and promoting opportunities within the UK and internationally, with a primary focus on the Department of Economics.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality guidance throughout the placement process and may collaborate with other departments across the Faculty as

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with placement activity.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong communication and guidance skills.
• Ability to research and promote placement opportunities.
• Capacity for ensuring high-quality support throughout the placement process.
• Flexibility to work across departments within the Faculty.

Responsibilities

• Support students to secure and succeed in professional placement opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with placement providers and partner organisations
• Research placement opportunities in the UK and internationally
• Promote placement opportunities to students
• Provide high-quality guidance throughout the placement process
• Support students within the Department of Economics
• Assist other departments within the Faculty as required
