Global Payroll Compliance Lead – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract – Salary circa £80k depending on experience. Location: Anywhere in the UK / Remote. We’re looking for a strategic, influential, and detail-driven Global Payroll Compliance Lead to join our global client on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this high-impact role, you’ll shape and lead the development of a world-class global payroll compliance framework—ensuring regulatory alignment, operational excellence, and risk mitigation across all the countries where we operate. This is a unique opportunity to drive trust, integrity, and resilience in our global payroll operations, making a direct impact on how we deliver for our people worldwide. What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing a scalable Global Payroll Compliance Framework aligned with regulatory, audit, and ISO standards.
• Monitoring and mitigating compliance risks through regulatory horizon scanning and proactive controls.
• Ensuring adherence to global data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PDPA), embedding privacy-by-design principles.
• Defining and maintaining payroll compliance policies, controls, and escalation protocols.
• Establishing governance and assurance models, including control testing and audit readiness.
• Building internal capability through training, knowledge-sharing, and stakeholder engagement on compliance and regulatory obligations.
