Job summary

Diageo seeks a Packaging Lead Regulatory Advisor to provide hands-on regulatory expertise on global packaging legislation and lead regulatory programmes from concept through implementation. You will prepare DoCs, assess material changes, and drive PPWR initiatives while collaborating with Sustainability and Procurement.

The role requires a relevant Technical/Science or Law qualification and strong knowledge of EU processes, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams in complex

Qualifications

Regulatory experience in packaging legislation, ideally in food or consumer goods.
Knowledge of EU regulatory processes is essential.
Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in complex regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on regulatory expertise on global packaging legislation.
Lead regulatory programmes and implement new legislation.
Prepare and maintain Declarations of Conformity and supporting compliance documents.
Lead PPWR-related regulatory activities including restricted substances and recyclability.
Develop and maintain regulatory standards, templates and tools.
Collaborate with Sustainability and Procurement to embed requirements into specs.
