Job summary

Burberry in London is seeking an Assistant, Global Merchandising to support the menswear team in developing seasonal ranges, balancing creativity with commercial performance and customer relevance. You will collaborate with Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Planning and Pricing to shape collections, analyse sales, and prepare buying guides, presentations and market insights.

The ideal candidate has luxury fashion experience, strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills, excellent organisation

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capability with confidence interpreting commercial and product performance data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams.
• Passion for product, customer experience and the evolving luxury menswear market.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of seasonal range plans, product assortments and pricing strategies across the menswear category.
• Analyse sales performance, identify opportunities and risks, and collaborate with Planning partners to support informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate product, pricing and delivery information within merchandising systems and tools.
• Conduct competitor and pricing analysis to provide insights that support collection architecture and market positioning.
• Prepare merchandising presentations, sales hindsight reviews, collection notes and buying guides for key business milestones.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support collection development, product fittings, showroom preparation and global buy activities.
