Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Medical Safety Officer (MSO) for PALM to oversee safety assessments of Innovative Medicine products. The role leads cross-functional safety teams, guides risk management strategies, and ensures timely regulatory safety submissions.

Strong clinical pharmacovigilance experience and global stakeholder interaction are essential. The MSO will influence clinical protocols, contribute to pivotal safety documents, and communicate findings to senior leadership and health

Qualifications

• Physician with 2–5 years pharmacovigilance experience or related field.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible/equivalent preferred.
• Medical specialization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Management Teams for assigned products.
• Provide medical/scientific expertise as the GMS representative on the CDT and Clinical Teams.
• Anticipate safety concerns and influence Clinical teams to mitigate patient impact.
• Contribute to regulatory documents and risk management plans (RMP/REMS).
• Communicate results to GMS Leadership and Health Authorities as needed.
