Job summary

Norgine is seeking a Global Medical Advisor to lead medical strategy across the Paediatric Oncology (Pedmarqsi) program and support development and commercialisation throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires an advanced life sciences degree and extensive Medical Affairs experience, with a focus on translating clinical insights into global and local strategies, ensuring regulatory alignment and scientifically rigorous communications.

Qualifications

• Advanced life sciences/pharmacy/medicine degree required.
• Proven experience in Medical Affairs within pharma or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of clinical development, evidence generation and regulatory processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and global stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to develop and execute medical strategies across multiple markets.
• Excellent communication skills for simplifying complex scientific data.

Responsibilities

• Shape Global Medical Strategy: Lead development and execution of global medical plans translating clinical insights into actionable strategies.
• Drive Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the medical lead within global teams, aligning global and local implementation.
• Lead Scientific Engagement: Build relationships with external experts, scientific societies, and patient organisations to inform decision-making.
• Deliver Evidence & Insights: Oversee data generation, interpretation, and communication to translate insights into actionable business actions.
• Ensure Scientific Excellence & Compliance: Provide medical input into regulatory, training, and commercial materials, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape Global Medical Strategy: Lead the development and execution of global medical plans, translating clinical insights and unmet needs into actionable strategies that support product lifecycle and growth
• Drive Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the medical lead within global teams, influencing brand strategy, lifecycle management, and ensuring alignment between global and local implementation
• Lead Scientific Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with external experts, scientific societies, and patient organisations to generate insight and inform decision-making
• Deliver Evidence & Insights: Oversee data generation, interpretation, and communication (including studies and publications), and translate insights into impactful business actions
• Ensure Scientific Excellence & Compliance: Provide medical input into regulatory, training, and commercial materials, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and adherence to applicable codes and standards

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine (e.g. MSc, PhD, PharmD, MD)

• Significant experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
• Strong understanding of clinical development, evidence generation, and regulatory processes
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence global stakeholders
• Experience developing and executing medical strategies across multiple markets
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific data
