Qualifications

• Must have deep understanding of end-to-end business processes.
• Experience assessing and managing risks across business technology and critical applications.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, well-judged guidance on complex audit matters.
• Ability to partner with audit teams to influence senior stakeholders on risk management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary assurance activities across teams, regions and functions.
• Proven track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent.
• Experience leveraging data, automation and AI to enhance audit testing and insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Internal Audit Technology portfolio across Macquarie's market-facing businesses.
• Shape continuous risk assessment, audit strategy and portfolio priorities.
• Assess how critical applications, platforms, data and controls support the business and identify technology risks.
• Provide senior judgement on complex, high-risk, or contentious matters.
• Offer oversight across the portfolio to ensure high-quality assurance and robust outcomes.
• Lead and develop a globally connected Technology Audit team across London, New York and Sydney.
• Champion the use of data, automation and AI to deliver deeper risk insights.
