Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Global Marketing Communications Manager to join the Global Demand Generation team in Portsmouth, UK, on-site. You will lead the planning and execution of global marketing events, manage PO creation and budget reporting, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality delivery.

• Proven ability to manage multiple global projects simultaneously while working across cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of global marketing events (trade shows, conferences, workshops, webinars, meetings) and ensure outstanding stakeholder and customer experiences.
• Own marketing operations activities including PO creation, invoice tracking, budget management, forecasting, and spend reporting across Global Demand Generation.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and event partners for high-quality, cost-efficient delivery aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate contract administration activities including SOWs, vendor onboarding, renewals, collaborating with Procurement, Legal, and Finance.
• Drive operational excellence through project management, process standardization, and continuous improvement for scalable marketing programs.

The Global Marketing Communications Manager serves as a key member of the Global Demand Generation team, responsible for the operational planning, execution and governance of global marketing programs, events and commercial initiatives. The role ensures successful delivery of customer‑facing events, effective management of marketing budgets and purchase orders, and efficient oversight of vendor and agency relationships. Working closely with marketing, commercial, finance, procurement and regional stakeholders, this individual drives operational excellence, process consistency and scalable execution of global demand generation activities.

This position reports to the Director, Global Demand Generation and is part of Pall Medical‘s Global Marketing organization located in Portsmouth, United Kingdom and will be an on‑site.

What You Will Do

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of global marketing events, including trade shows, customer conferences, workshops, webinars, and commercial meetings, ensuring exceptional stakeholder and customer experiences.


• Own marketing operations activities, including purchase order creation, invoice tracking, budget management, forecasting, and spend reporting across the Global Demand Generation organization.


• Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and event partners, ensuring high‑quality delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.


• Coordinate contract administration activities, including Statements of Work (SOWs), vendor onboarding, renewals, and collaboration with Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams.


• Drive operational excellence through effective project management, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and scalability of global marketing programs.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.


• Experience in marketing operations, event management, project management or marketing communications.


• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, purchase orders, invoicing processes and financial tracking.


• Experience managing external vendors, agencies, contracts and statements of work.


• Proven ability to manage multiple global projects simultaneously while working across cross‑functional teams.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to travel approximately 5% globally for customer events, internal meetings and trade shows.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Healthcare industry experience.


• SAP experience.


• Experience with DAM tools like Showpad.


• Experience supporting large international trade shows and customer events.
