Job summary

Arbex is seeking a senior procurement and global supply chain lead to drive ocean freight, CAPEX, and MRO strategies. You will own carrier relationships, renegotiate contracts, and work with Engineering on CAPEX sourcing while building a global MRO program and achieving substantial annual savings.

The role requires collaboration across Engineering, Finance, and Operations, with a travel expectation up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in procurement/supply chain with direct Ocean Freight expertise.
• CAPEX sourcing experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Freight market modeling, TCO analysis, and carrier contract negotiation skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Finance, Operations).

Responsibilities

• Own ocean carrier relationships — renegotiate global contracts and drive rate optimization.
• Partner with Engineering on CAPEX sourcing strategy and supplier pre-qualification.
• Build a global MRO program — vendor consolidation and catalog automation.
• Deliver $30–45M in annual savings across the portfolio.
• Manage supply chain risk — geopolitical disruption and port delays.
• Drive digitization: freight TMS integration and CAPEX/MRO catalog automation.

About You

• Deliver $30–45M in annual savings across portfolio
• Manage supply chain risk — geopolitical disruption, port delays, logistics volatility
• Drive digitization: freight TMS integration, CAPEX and MRO catalog automation

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

• 12+ yrs procurement/supply chain; direct Ocean Freight expertise required
• CAPEX sourcing experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Freight market modeling, TCO analysis, carrier contract negotiation skills
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Finance, Operations)
• Knowledge of Incoterms, customs and trade compliance preferred

This role requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time
