Novartis AG in London is building an International Legal Hub and seeks a Legal Counsel, Commercial Launch Strategy International. You will partner with business leaders to provide trusted legal guidance enabling innovation and strategic decision-making across markets.

The role covers regulatory, commercial and transactional matters, data privacy, AI, and digital communications, with hybrid work options and a base salary reflecting market ranges in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with experience across regulatory, commercial and transactional matters.
• Experience advising business stakeholders in multinational pharma/life sciences.
• Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, pragmatic legal advice to assigned Therapeutic Areas, Functions and international initiatives.
• Partner with Ethics, Risk & Compliance and business/medical teams to identify, assess and mitigate risks.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, development, medical, and access agreements; support due diligence and alliances.
• Review promotional materials, congress content and investor communications for consistency and compliance.
• Support innovative business models, launches and risk-mitigated engagement with stakeholders.
