Job summary

Interface Recruitment is sourcing an IT Security Specialist for a global infrastructure firm based in West Yorkshire. The role involves working with the IT Infrastructure team to advise on IT security, develop policies, and implement enterprise-wide security solutions across 6500+ staff and 70+ sites.

The candidate will review environments, design security controls, support policy development, and ensure regulatory compliance including Cyber Essentials and GDPR.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in information security risk and compliance.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001/27002, DP Act and GDPR.
• Experience with penetration testing and risk reporting.
• Technical security experience: OS, Networking, Security operations, Forensics, Security architecture.
• Cisco security products knowledge (ASA, AnyConnect, VPN).
• Understanding of VPNs, firewalls, switches, routers, LANs.
• Experience creating formal reports and procedures.
• Experience conducting risk reviews and technology audits.

Responsibilities

• Review IT environment and develop enterprise-wide security solutions.
• Proactively improve information security policies and guidance.
• Coordinate security testing, risk assessments and reporting.
• Provide security consultancy to projects and operations teams.
• Manage threat and vulnerability management activities.
• Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO standards.
