Job summary

A leading global consultancy is seeking an experienced IT procurement professional to combine category expertise with consulting and transformation delivery. You will work with major organisations on complex commercial, sourcing and supplier initiatives, helping clients identify opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes.

You will lead workstreams, engage senior stakeholders and apply procurement expertise across IT categories, including Enterprise Software, IT Services and Cloud & Hosting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience within IT procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience operating across global IT procurement categories.
• Subject-matter expertise in Enterprise Software, IT Services and/or Cloud & Hosting.
• Experience managing or influencing technology spend portfolios, ideally > $50m annually.
• Strong indirect procurement knowledge with complex sourcing initiatives.
• Consulting experience or close work with consulting organisations advantageous.
• Experience leading teams and delivery across geographies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams across global client engagements.
• Develop and execute IT procurement and category strategies.
• Lead complex sourcing and commercial initiatives from opportunity to implementation.
• Conduct supplier research, market analysis and commercial assessments.
• Build robust data foundations and translate data into actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve value, supplier performance and outcomes.
• Track benefits and ensure delivery aligns with milestones.
• Engage stakeholders to understand requirements and align priorities.
• Lead and contribute to workshops and senior stakeholder discussions.
• Communicate recommendations and insights clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Support the development of high-performing teams and growth of the practice.
