Job summary

Bertelsmann is seeking a Logistics Planner to shape modern intralogistics at multiple UK sites. You will design workflows, plan material flows, and drive automation and digitalization projects across Corby, Hams Hall, Kings Norton, and East Midlands Gateway.

You will collaborate with colleagues across Europe, analyze requirements, present tailored solutions, and manage projects from planning to implementation while contributing to continuous improvement and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on Logistics, or a comparable qualification with a strong logistics focus.
• At least three years of relevant experience in logistics and material flow planning, intralogistics automation, and/or optimization projects.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with planning tools; proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of simulation/visualization tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop Intralogistics Concepts aimed at efficient warehouse designs and scalable operations.
• Data-driven Material Flow and Facility Planning to optimize storage and layouts.
• Consultative engagement with internal and external customers to tailor value-adding solutions.
• Manage projects from planning to implementation, including budgets, timelines, and workforce planning.
• Collaborate within an international team to continuously improve logistics standards.
