Job summary

Arch Europe Insurance Services Ltd in London, United Kingdom, is seeking a qualified International Tax professional to support our team on a broad range of tax matters across EMEA, including M&A, transfer pricing and tax reporting. The role emphasizes hands-on experience, collaboration with Finance, Legal and HR, and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A CPA/CTA or equivalent and a minimum of three years tax experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance or law from an accredited college/university.
• Licensed CPA/CA/CTA or similar.
• Minimum three years tax experience in industry or public accounting. Insurance industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the International Tax team on special projects including international business expansion, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions
• Provide tax guidance for international contracts, transactions, and strategic initiatives
• Assess impact of emerging jurisdictional, regional and global tax rules
• Manage and respond to tax authority interventions across various jurisdictions
• Assist with the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and related matters
• Partner with Finance, Legal, HR, Treasury, and business units on tax matters
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders (incl. tax authorities)
• Provide tax advice to senior stakeholders across the business on a range of tax matters
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of the Company's income tax provision for US GAAP and local GAAP reporting
• Oversight and management of direct tax filings and payment obligations in certain jurisdictions
