ACCA Careers in Slough is seeking an Internal Auditor to join a global Internal Audit function. You will deliver audits across a diverse international business, working with senior stakeholders and driving improvements across Europe and beyond.

The role offers hybrid working, exposure to risk across financial, compliance and operational domains, and opportunities to influence audit planning and business processes.

Qualifications

• ACA (or equivalent) qualified/newly qualified with audit or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP or UK GAAP).
• Ability to speak French or other European languages is advantageous.
• Experience delivering audits and assessing financial and operational processes.

Responsabilités

• Deliver financial, operational and compliance audits with Audit Manager; assess risks, controls, IT systems and performance metrics.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, analyse and document audit evidence, maintaining high-quality working papers and audit files.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Partner with management to develop pragmatic action plans and monitor progress.
• Build strong relationships across the business.
• Contribute to annual audit plan focusing on key risk areas and strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with the wider Internal Audit team.
