Job summary

Burberry is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Manager to join its Global Internal Audit team. This highly visible role provides independent assurance across the organisation's strategic, operational, financial and technology risks, strengthening governance and control environments across the business.

Working with senior stakeholders, you will shape the audit plan, deliver insights that drive meaningful improvements, and support Burberry's evolution as a leading luxury brand.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management or Assurance across business environments.
• Strong understanding of risk-based auditing principles and governance, risk and control frameworks.
• Ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing relationships and coaching teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver risk-based audits across operational, financial, business transformation and technology-focused areas.
• Partner with the Audit Director to shape the audit universe and annual audit plan.
• Monitor evolving risk landscape and provide insight into emerging risks, opportunities and controls.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and recommendations.
• Oversee audit delivery, review work for quality and contribute to methodologies and analytics.
• Coach and support team members while contributing to growth and effectiveness of Internal Audit.
