Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to deliver global audit services, collaborating with executives to identify risks and improve controls. You will perform financial and operational audits, and provide advisory support across our organization worldwide.

Successful candidates will have strong auditing experience, knowledge of control testing, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in internal or external auditing.
• Public Accounting experience and certification preferred.
• Knowledge of audit methodology including planning, test procedures, sampling, data analytics.
• Travel up to 25% of time.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing and performing various audits worldwide, including financial/operational audits, within cost and time budgets.
• Performing internal control testing and documentation review in compliance with Anti-Bribery & Corruption law requirements.
• Developing accurate and complete audit work papers that adequately support audit findings and documents work performed.
• Summarizing audit findings and recommendations and discussing them with auditees.
• Reviewing and ensuring that audit findings are representative and work papers comprehensive and fully supported.
• Developing cost effective solutions to control weaknesses or inefficiencies noted; participating on special projects and investigations on an as-needed basis.
