Job summary

Cigna Healthcare is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Advisor to strengthen its regional audit program within Europe and North America. You will work with senior leadership to deliver risk-based assurance and enhance internal controls across finance, operations and IT.

The role offers exposure to governance bodies of a Fortune 15 organization with international scope, travel up to 25%, and opportunities to drive meaningful improvements in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading internal audits and delivering risk-based assurance.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with report writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end audits including planning, fieldwork and reporting across operational, financial and IT areas.
• Supervise audit teams, provide coaching and guidance.
• Assess business processes and internal controls, identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Risk Management and QA to ensure a unified assurance approach.
• Participate in governance meetings, regulatory interactions and audit committee briefings.
• Support tracking and validation of management actions arising from audits.
• Promote knowledge sharing and adoption of auditing best practices.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, matrix environment.
