Job summary

Global Infrastructure is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead multiple civil projects from Beauly with travel as required. You’ll drive commercial performance, manage contracts and teams to deliver on time, safely, and to budget.

You'll work closely with Operations Directors to secure strong client relationships and maintain high quality standards across projects, ensuring compliance and profitable delivery across the civils portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong background in civil engineering project and contract management.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and balance operational, commercial and contractual priorities.
• Driving licence required or equivalent allowed

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple civil engineering projects, coordinating clients, delivery teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage contracts, contractual obligations, variations, risks and project changes.
• Work with the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager to monitor budgets, costs and commercial performance.
• Lead and support project managers, site managers, engineers and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Select subcontractors, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Report on project progress, support bids and tenders, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and delivery.

Global Infrastructure - Contracts Manager - Civils

Contracts Manager

Location: Based in Beauly but required to travel
Contract: Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours

The role

We’re looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering projects, bringing together strong teams, effective commercial management and lasting client relationships.

Working closely with the Operations Director and Specialist Works Director, you’ll take responsibility for project performance, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. You’ll play a key role in supporting the sustainable, profitable growth of the business.

You’ll be a confident communicator and effective team leader, able to build strong working relationships, resolve challenges and maintain a clear focus on safe, high-quality and commercially successful delivery.

Driving licence and previous experience in a similar role essential.
