Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Indirect Tax Risk & Assurance Analyst to join the IITXC team. You will perform control testing, extract and analyse data, and assess controls across international indirect tax operations.

The role requires VAT/indirect tax experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate independently in multi-jurisdictional environments, with familiarity in Power BI, Python, SQL, and Excel being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with data analytics platforms and large-scale data mining tools.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Ability to analyze data to identify control gaps and risk.
• Interest in technology and AI; ability to work with GenAI workflows.
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional indirect tax environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate recurring data extraction as part of risk evaluation.
• Analyze large data sets and use analytics tools where possible.
• Interpret results and assess impact on risk profile.
• Oversee remediation actions and metrics for leadership.
• Propose additional testing plans based on outcomes.
