Job description

We are seeking a Global Health Manager to advance Oxford Global Health (OGH) - a University-wide initiative that connects researchers across all disciplines to tackle the world's most pressing health challenges. Hosted in Medical Sciences and working across the full breadth of Oxford, you'll turn cross-disciplinary ambition into delivery and impact. You will provide strategic operational leadership: embed a high‑performing professional services function; coordinate governance and reporting; set objectives and KPIs and track delivery; oversee budgets; and drive engagement and communications that build a vibrant interdisciplinary community. You'll broker collaborations, catalyse research programmes and shape major external bids. Working within the Research Strategy and Funding Team in the Medical Sciences Divisional Office and the OGH Directorate, you'll collaborate widely across Oxford. Our team is friendly, welcoming and supportive and this is a great development opportunity while contributing to Oxford's global health impact. The role includes occasional UK and international travel.
