Job description
Global Health and Safety Manager – Berkshire (global travel)

Circa £65,000 plus excellent benefits.

Irwin and Colton has partnered with a world leading hospitality company (a FTSE‑100 constituent) to recruit a brand‑new Global Health and Safety Manager. The company operates a global footprint of over 6,000 sites and an additional 2,000+ in development phase.

This is an exciting role where you will work with senior team members and wider stakeholders to shape the way the business drives safety and security strategies. You will deliver engaging content, from training materials and learning resources, to management systems and policy reviews. You will ensure the property portfolio and colleagues across EMEAA are equipped with the best knowledge and guidance.

The role reports to the Director of Global Safety and Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the strategy for health and safety across the real estate portfolio.
  • Manage all safety procedures for full compliance across the portfolio.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to increase health and safety performance, awareness and understanding across the business.
  • Work closely with site security to mitigate wider risks for staff and customers.
  • Engage across the business to drive a positive safety culture.
Qualifications and Experience
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) and relevant IOSH membership (Diploma is ideal).
  • Proven experience in a similar environment; ideally within residential or commercial real estate or the hospitality sector (customer‑led environment).
  • Proven management experience within multi‑site operations and an ability to communicate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation.

Comfortable with international travel as and when required.
