Job summary

TMF Group seeks an Accounting Manager to lead fund accounting and financial reporting for a diverse client portfolio. You will supervise audits and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables, collaborating with cross-functional teams worldwide.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in fund accounting or external audit, strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge, and experience with investment systems like Investran. A professional accounting qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of fund accounting, financial reporting, or external audit experience, ideally in Private Equity/Real Estate (PERE).
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience with investment accounting systems (Investran or similar).
• Good understanding of alternative investment fund structures and related transactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for fund accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee high-quality accounting and reporting services.
• Lead the financial statement preparation and audit process, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit queries.
• Review and approve work produced by junior team members, providing guidance and technical support.
• Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
• Plan and prioritize workloads to meet client expectations and business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with clients, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Mentor and coach junior staff as part of development.
