Job summary

A leading global property services firm is seeking a Global Programme Manager to lead the Fugitive Gas & Emissions Programme. This role involves developing a systematic approach to reduce fugitive emissions across various properties, ensuring compliance with regulations, and engaging key stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds an engineering or environmental science degree and has 8+ years of relevant experience, including emissions tracking and project management. The position allows for remote work within the UK, particularly in Birmingham or London.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in global programme management, ideally in GHG/fugitive emission management.
  • Proven expertise in regulatory compliance and asset management.
  • In-depth knowledge of refrigerants and fugitive emission sources.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of fugitive emissions programmes.
  • Engage stakeholders across HSBC’s property portfolio for emission management.
  • Conduct routine inspections and leak detection tests.
  • Produce regular reports identifying emission sources and trends.
  • Develop targeted reduction initiatives like preventative maintenance.
