Job summary

SEKO Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking a pricing specialist to prepare accurate quotations for Air, Ocean and Road Freight. You will source rates, negotiate with carriers and ensure profitability across the global network.

The role involves supporting the Sales team with pricing, market intelligence and responses to tenders, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Experience creating quotations for Air, Ocean and Road Freight.
• Ability to source and negotiate competitive carrier rates.
• Understanding of import/export and cross-trade operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for Air, Ocean and Road Freight services.
• Manage import/export/cross-trade pricing requests across the global network.
• Obtain competitive rates from carriers and overseas partners.
• Ensure quotations are commercially viable and meet margin targets.
• Analyse customer requirements to provide tailored logistics solutions.
• Support Sales with pricing, market intelligence and tenders/RFQs.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor market conditions and rate changes to maintain competitiveness.
• Maintain pricing databases and carrier contracts.
• Ensure quotations comply with policies and capabilities.
• Follow up on quotations to maximise conversions.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure deliverability and profitability.
• Produce reports on quotation activity and margins.
• Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries.
