Job summary

Hansen Technologies is hiring a Financial Controller for a 6-month fixed-term, hybrid role based in Hammersmith. You will oversee IFRS reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and controls across multiple entities, acting as a partner to regional finance teams and ensuring compliant, transparent financial statements.

The ideal candidate holds ACA/ACCA/CA, with 6–8 years of PQ, strong IFRS knowledge, and hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) professional qualification.
• Solid hands-on experience in financial reporting or controllership roles.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ability to interpret guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, half-year and year-end close reporting across entities with variance commentary.
• Apply IFRS technical standards to routine transactions for compliant reporting.
• Oversee general ledger operations, journals, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Manage budgeting/forecasting with clear driver commentary.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure policy adherence.
• Support accounts payable queries and GL accuracy; drive close activities.
