Job summary

SF Partners is recruiting a Financial Accountant for an international business. The role covers financial reporting, commercial analysis and business partnering, reporting to the Financial Controller and Commercial Finance Manager.

It is a hands-on position for a qualified accountant who enjoys blending technical accounting with broader business involvement. You will own key month-end activities, support budgeting and forecasts, and work with operational teams to explain performance and drive

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• At least 1 year post-qualification experience
• Strong grounding in financial accounting and reporting

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly accounts and Group reporting submissions within deadlines
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and queries
• Explain performance to operational teams and investigate variances
• Support budgets and rolling forecasts across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Ensure reporting complies with UK accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Oversee outsourced partner handling accounts payable/receivable
• Support cash management, payments and processing
• Improve finance systems and maintain clear process documentation
• Provide analysis to support business decisions

Education

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
