Zusammenfassung

Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) in Bath seeks an experienced qualified accountant to lead its international finance team. You will report to the COO and provide financial insight to the CEO, SMT and Trustees to support rapid growth.

You'll manage a UK and overseas team, oversee treasury and currency risk, ensure robust controls, and produce timely global financial reporting. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accountant with international charity finance experience.
• Minimum of six years' work experience, including managing a finance team.
• Experience designing and implementing financial controls.
• Experience with multi-currency income & expenditure.
• Strong IT skills and ability to manage IT systems/databases.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Experience with UK Charity SORP and annual report production.
• Ability to travel to EJF countries of operation.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and improve EJF's global financial policies, systems, controls and processes in every country EJF operates.
• Manage six finance staff in the UK and overseas.
• Produce accurate, accessible monthly and annual global financial reporting for internal and external audiences.
• Provide strategic forecasts and advice to the CEO, SMT and Trustees.
• Prepare budgets for funding proposals and ensure accurate projections of spend against grants.
• Lead the annual organisational budget process and multi-year financial plans.
• Mentor team leads on budgeting and expenditure oversight.
• Monitor value for money in expenditure and remove inefficiencies.
