Latham & Watkins in Manchester is inviting recent graduates to join a two-year Global Finance Graduate Scheme, featuring a rotational training program across Analytical and Transactional tracks. This program develops expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, billing and procurement while rotating through core finance functions.

During the scheme you will gain hands-on experience, build professional skills, and connect with colleagues across the firm in a collaborative, global environment.

Qualifications

• Earned a BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics or related field.
• Graduated in the last two years with a 2:1 degree or on track to graduate Summer 2027.
• Display knowledge and proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to internal and external clients.
• Collaborate globally with offices, teams and Business Services Trainees.
• Support the financial team across rotations and participate in a range of finance tasks.
• Engage in data-driven analysis, reporting, and project work within rotations.

About the Role

We are seeking recent graduates to join our two-year Global Finance Graduate Scheme in Manchester beginning in Autumn 2027. As part of Latham’s Global Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the department while participating in a rotational training program. Over the course of two years, you will rotate through various roles in our financial team.

We have two routes within our Financial graduate scheme either Analytical or Transactional finance. As part of your application, you will be asked to specify which financial track you are applying for:

On the Financial Analysis rotation, you would be enabling data-driven decision making through quantitative analysis and financial reports. You may be engaged in financial planning and budgeting, fee proposals, advanced analytics, building and updating financial models, strategic projects, preparing reports, leveraging technology to provide insights into financial performance and day-to-day activity, and providing analytical support to attorneys, the department, and other firm management as requested. The Analytical Track rotates through four core areas: Credit, Legal Project Management, Financial Insights Consulting, and Pricing.

On the Financial Transactions and Control rotation, you would be engaged in supporting and controlling key financial transactions of the firm. This Transactional Track rotates through Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Billing, and Procurement, giving you exposure to the end-to-end financial operations of the firm.

And have:

• Earned a BSc degree in one or more of the following: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Either graduated in the last two years with a 2:1 degree or above, or are on track to graduate with a 2:1 in Summer 2027
