Job summary

Centrica Energy in London is seeking a Business Enhancement Analyst to drive strategic and operational improvements across the trading organisation. You will support transformation initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams and help deliver change in a fast-paced, international trading environment.

Based in our central London office (near Marble Arch) with 3 days in the office and occasional international travel, you will work with Operations, Technology and Business Management to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience & understanding of commodity trading markets, ideally gas, power or LNG.
• Knowledge of the end-to-end trading lifecycle and associated operational processes.
• Experience working within a project delivery, PMO, business change or operational improvement environment.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project or similar project management platforms would be desirable.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident creating presentations, reports and business updates for a range of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of business transformation and platform improvement initiatives across Centrica Energy.
• Coordinate project activities, including planning, governance, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops, ensuring actions, risks and dependencies are effectively managed.
• Produce high-quality project updates, presentations and management information for stakeholders.
• Monitor project and portfolio performance, identifying risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Build strong relationships across Operations, Technology and Business teams to support successful project delivery.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability and operational effectiveness.
