The successful candidate will provide primary coverage of the Global Energy sector, conduct in-depth analysis, and generate investment recommendations. With a minimum of 8 years in equity research, ideally CFA-qualified, you will thrive in a collaborative environment. This role involves building financial models and interacting with company management to keep research current, along with actively participating in ESG efforts.

Qualifications

• 8 years+ equity research experience on the buy-side or sell-side.
• Relevant work experience and knowledge of the energy sector.
• Willingness to embrace a long-term, fundamental investment process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fundamental analysis of specific companies and industries.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and develop an investment thesis.
• Generate investment ideas for inclusion in portfolios.
• Present investment ideas at weekly investment committee meetings.
• Keep research up to date for existing portfolio companies.
• Interact with company management and produce investment notes.
• Engage in ESG initiatives within the investment team.
