Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a seasoned Head of Risk Framework to design and oversee the Group's risk management framework across multiple jurisdictions. You will lead risk taxonomy, appetite, policy governance and incident management, working with executive teams to embed the Three Lines of Defence model and strengthen risk culture.

You will manage a team, drive risk technology initiatives, and ensure robust reporting to the Board on material risks and governance.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience in enterprise risk management within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, risk appetite, risk assessment, controls, incident management and policy governance.
• Experience leading risk transformation and GRC platform changes.

Responsibilities

• Design, strengthen, maintain and oversee the Group Risk Management Framework and policies.
• Maintain risk taxonomy, classification matrices, risk appetite methodology and KRIs.
• Facilitate group-wide risk assessments and monitor escalation of material issues.
• Provide oversight for local risk assessments and escalation to management and committees.
• Oversee Group Business Continuity and crisis management frameworks.
• Own the Group Policy Framework and governance lifecycle.
• Lead risk technology and data initiatives, including Riskonnect integration.
• Ensure risk systems link risks, controls, incidents and actions over time.
• Lead the Risk Framework team and develop capabilities across the group.
