A leading technology and engineering firm is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop and execute global sales plans for Corrosion and Erosion solutions. The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business, coupled with significant sales experience. You will foster a customer-focused culture while managing key account relationships and developing innovative sales strategies. This role requires extensive travel and offers a supportive workplace culture with a focus on career development.
Develop, execute, and own account and industry specific Corrosion and Erosion sales plans globally
Foster a customer focused safety and quality culture throughout the organization
Deliver the strategy for Integrity Management providing end to end solutions for our customers including partnership evaluation and development of Acquisition Funnel
KPI’s for Corrosion and Erosion Global Trade and Intercompany bookings and sales
Proactive management of key account relationships and commercial agreements.
Drives the growth of the business consistent with that of a disruptive technology / business model.
Works to integrate the Corrosion and Erosion business and products into the broader Emerson Automation Solution organizations where appropriate in an expeditious manner.
Monitor volume and price / discount trends and the DOA process
In conjunction with local Sales and Service teams, actively participate in high level calls and meetings to stay close to customer base, sales process, and improvement opportunities.
Proactively utilize executive level selling to maintain and grow customer base and presence.
Actively participate in the Strategic Planning process.
Work closely with marketing department to ensure support of Sales strategies and objectives.
Support to Sales companies through Sales Tools, Visits and training
Leverage all available strengths of the organization to win business through white space analysis, participation in project pursuit processes, leveraging Key Account teams, and other group capabilities.
Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business, coupled with a strong technical orientation obtained either through an Engineering degree or years of experience.
Must have demonstrated the ability to develop imaginative and aggressive sales / marketing strategies. Also required to have knowledge and experience in the principles of continuous improvement
Experience in sales management and leadership essential
Extensive travel is required
