Job summary

Joseph Joseph Ltd in London is looking for a Design Manager to lead end-to-end development of complex consumer products from concept to manufacture, initially focusing on Cookshop & Cookware.

You will work with the Senior Design Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading ranges on time and within budget, mentoring junior colleagues and supporting recruitment.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 at home) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven track record delivering complex consumer goods from concept to manufacture.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on tight critical paths.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of manufacturing techniques; factory experience is a plus.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with design tools.
• Proficient in Adobe CS and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design development of Cookshop & Cookware categories.
• Manage multiple fast-paced projects with schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, suppliers on prototypes and QA.
• Draft briefs for design and engineering resources.
• Present updates and plans to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support recruitment.
