Job summary

Bank of America is offering a 12-month Industrial Placement Analyst programme in its Global Information Security team in the UK. You will join as a full-time Technology Analyst, rotate into a dedicated group, and contribute from day one to protect client data and support security operations.

The programme includes formal training, on-the-job support, mentorship, and opportunities to develop analytical, strategic, and technical cybersecurity skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completion between Sept 2028 and July 2029.
• On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification.
• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
• 12-month placement built into the academic curriculum; available to join from June 2027 for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, strategic, and technical skills to design, develop, implement, and use cybersecurity solutions.
• Deliver innovative capabilities in a team environment within Global Information Security.
• Respond to, research, measure, detect, and mitigate security attacks across networks and applications.
• Support global incident management and event management processes; produce remediation metrics.
• Assist with security strategy, policy development, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response.
