Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a Global Category Manager – Core Technology to lead the strategy for the technologies underpinning our global organisation. You will drive cloud transformation, infrastructure updates, and secure supplier partnerships to support growth.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Architecture, Operations, and Finance to optimise technology investment and maximise value while maintaining resilience and security across our global

Qualifications

• Experience in Core Technology sourcing and category management.
• Strong understanding of technology markets and supplier ecosystems.
• Ability to translate business needs into sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the global Core Technology category strategy.
• Lead sourcing activities across cloud services, infrastructure, networks, hardware, and managed services.
• Manage strategic relationships with cloud providers, technology vendors, and service partners.
• Support cloud transformation, network modernisation, and technology refresh programmes.
• Drive cost optimisation, resilience, supplier innovation, and risk reduction.
• Provide market insight on trends, cybersecurity, automation, and sustainable tech solutions.
