Vialto is seeking a Global Immigration Coordination Manager to lead a large corporate account, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and delivering outstanding client service. The role focuses on guiding cross-border immigration programs and collaborating with internal teams and external providers.

Based in London, this regular contract position offers a hybrid work model (3 days in the office) and the chance to shape immigration strategies for multinational clients within a leading global

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in immigration or mobility.
  • Experience managing global immigration accounts within corporate or professional services.
  • Experience leading a team of Associates and Senior Associates.
  • Experience in global mobility is required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a coordination team to lead a large corporate account's global immigration program.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and coordinate legal guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to streamline processes.
  • Use data to inform decisions and develop a point of view on trends.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure appropriate immigration options are discussed.
  • Review billing and WIP for the account and manage finance aspects.
  • Develop and mentor junior team members.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Job Description

This role is focused on assisting with the global immigration requirements of our clients' employees. It involves ensuring adherence to Immigration Laws and Regulations and delivering outstanding client service. The global immigration coordination manager plays a vital role as they will be leading a global client account. They engage in close collaboration with various Vialto immigration teams, third-party service providers, corporate clients, individual employees, government entities, and various stakeholders. This collaboration is essential for facilitating efficient and well-coordinated immigration processes. The manager's responsibilities are crucial in overseeing the complexities of global immigration programs and procedures and ensuring successful outcomes for all parties involved.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Overseeing a coordination team of Associates and Senior Associates to lead a large and critical corporate account's global immigration program
  • Maintaining regular and effective communication with clients, addressing queries and coordinating legal guidance to support their immigration needs.
  • Use multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Manage and resolve issues and /or escalations due to complex case matters
  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
  • Manage multiple and challenging Country business immigration engagements to deliver to our clients.
  • Manage client relationships by ensuring accurate and appropriate immigration options are provided and discussed.
  • Manage, review and provide sign off on billing, WIP review, and finance of the account.
  • Manage, support, and develop junior team members
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience in managing global immigration accounts within a corporate organization or as a professional service provider / law firm for other organizations.
  • Experience in managing a team of global immigration Associates and Senior Associates
  • Experience in global mobility (e.g. global coordination, immigration advisory) is required.
