Job summary

Mastercard seeks a senior controllership leader to own governance, audit readiness, and financial reporting for a high‑complex digital payments business. You will advise on US GAAP/IFRS, oversee statutory filings, and coordinate with Global Finance partners to ensure robust controls and policy adherence.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in controllership, and exposure to digital asset activities, with a track record of driving remediation in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• CPA, CA, or equivalent certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven ability to strengthen governance, assess and design effective financial controls, and drive remediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit readiness, governance, and financial reporting for a complex digital payments business.
• Provide accounting judgment on US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP differences; oversee bridge processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal control teams; manage regulatory and statutory reporting.
• Drive integration compliance and remediation plans for an acquired business.
