Job summary

Verifone in the United Kingdom is seeking a detail‑oriented Compliance Officer/MLRO to join the global Compliance team. You will lead regulatory reporting, audit management, third‑party due diligence, and compliance monitoring.

This role involves building compliance dashboards with AI tools, automating data workflows, and producing artefacts for senior stakeholders and the Audit & Risk Committee across EMEA, the Americas and APAC.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of demonstrable experience in compliance or second-line risk.
• Experience with regulatory reporting cycles and audits end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to build compliance dashboards.
• Proven track record managing due-diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
• Strong AML/CTF knowledge and sanctions screening familiarity.
• Knowledge of PSD2/PSD3, AMLD5/6 and UK OFSI.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Be the MLRO for the Verifone UK entity.
• Serve regulators as the primary compliance contact.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting filings for licensed entities.
• Educate and coach staff on compliance best practices.
• Design and deliver internal compliance training materials.
• Coordinate third-party reviews and audits.
• Maintain a master responses library for DDQs and ESG surveys.
• Build and maintain compliance dashboards using AI tools.
