Global Compliance Manager

Purpose of Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Global Compliance Manager to lead our global compliance programme and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practice. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit and Chief Compliance Officer, this strategic role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements across 60+ countries while fostering a culture of integrity. The position provides expert guidance on key areas including anti‑bribery, trade sanctions, data privacy, human rights, and supply chain ethics, whilst delivering robust governance and assurance to the board. By driving effective controls and supporting sustainability commitments, the Global Compliance Manager safeguards our reputation and reinforces our commitment to doing business the right way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and oversee a robust global Compliance framework, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments aligned with laws, regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Provide expert compliance advise on matters such as ethics, anti‑bribery, sanctions, export control, antitrust, privacy, human rights, and anti‑modern slavery.
  • Advise on sanctions, anti‑bribery, privacy, ethical business practices, and ESG matters, supporting teams with practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, prepare board reports, and oversee investigations to support responsible, sustainable, and ethical operations.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCEP, CRCM) preferred.
  • Extensive compliance experience in a multinational environment, with proven expertise in policy development, investigations, and training delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks such as FCPA, UK Bribery Act, and GDPR, with comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex regulations across diverse jurisdictions and business contexts.
